Terms of Service

1. What Kachink Is

Kachink is a personal finance tracking tool operated by Durrat Digital. It runs as a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. You interact with it through Claude or any MCP-compatible client to log transactions, view spending summaries, manage recurring charges, and see a visual dashboard.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting to and using the Kachink MCP server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Account and Authentication

You sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Kachink does not store your Google password.

4. Permitted Use

Kachink is intended for personal finance tracking only. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users
  • Use automated systems to spam or overload the server

5. Your Data

You own your data. Kachink stores it solely to provide the service. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time using the built-in tools. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

6. Service Availability

Kachink is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kachink is a tracking tool, not a financial advisor. It does not provide financial advice, tax guidance, or investment recommendations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kachink and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Exchange Rates

Currency exchange rates are provided by the Frankfurter API for informational purposes only. Rates may not reflect real-time market rates and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.

9. Termination

You may stop using Kachink at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data using the "delete my account" command. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Subscriptions and Payment

Kachink offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time — your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Prices are displayed inclusive or exclusive of tax depending on your location. All tax calculation, collection, and remittance is handled by Paddle.

11. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with Kachink Pro, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests are processed by Paddle. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or use the Paddle receipt email. No refund is issued for partial billing periods after cancellation, as you retain access until the end of your current period.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Kachink after changes constitutes acceptance.
